Chocolate Hazelnut Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 cups 300 grams raw hazelnuts
  • 2 tablespoons 12 grams cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons 30 ml coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon 15 ml honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1.5 grams sea salt

  • Roast the hazelnuts at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes. Remove the skins by rubbing the hazelnuts in a kitchen towel.
  • Blend the hazelnuts in a high-speed blender or food processor until smooth.
  • Add cocoa powder, coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, and sea salt, and blend until combined.
  • Store in a glass jar at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
