In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add quinoa, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine cooked quinoa, black beans, bell pepper, avocado, red onion, and cilantro.
In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Pour over the quinoa mixture and toss to combine.
Serve chilled or at room temperature.
